Carriers delivering Wayfair goods needed a tool to help them pickup, and delivery last mile offerings to customers all over the world

This project started with a simple prototype generated through user research to create a platform that could be measured in terms of user satisfaction and then built according to Wayfair branding and application guidelines.

Drivers and supplier dock managers were interviewed on site and via observation about the requirements regarding the shipment life cycle and maintaining accurate statuses and necessary information for delivery.

Initial Workflow and Rapid Prototype

After gathering requirements from both Wayfair business and Carriers a flow was established for creating a working prototype built in Salesforce that could be launched through a provided device for drivers.

Initial Metrics and Data

We were then able to create a Dashboard where usage, satisfaction, and success metrics were gathered for development of next stages of the application.

Branding and UI Design

After synthesizing the feedback from a 3 month pilot we were able to create an interface using our external user application design system, and incorporate process and quality of life improvements for drivers and Wayfair Customers
